KYTC and OSET Cup Dates 2026

As you may have seen on our Facebook page, here is a provisional list of dates for this year.  Some venues have not yet been confirmed, so please check back here or on our Facebook page for updates throughout the year.  We will, however, try our very best to ensure that these published dates are kept to so you can think about holidays, shifts and supplying observers etc. etc.

KYTC Awards Evening - 21st February 2026

Lordswood Leisure Centre, North Dane Way, Chatham, Kent.  ME5 8YE.


The culmination of the KYTC Championship, the OSET Cup and some Special Awards.


Plus the KYTC Raffle - bring some cash as raffle tickets will be sold on the door!!


Heritage Transport Show - 11th April 2026

KYTC Championship Round 1 - 19th April 2026
Venue - China Farm, Plough Lane, Upper Harbledown, Canterbury, Kent.  CT2 9AR


Signing on will be from 9am, briefing and start at 10:00 am.
KYTC Championship Round 2 (Saturday), KYTC Championship Round 3 and TXP Cup powered by OSET Round 1 (Sunday)  - 23rd & 24th May 2026
Venue - Rakins, Slip Mill Lane, Gills Green, Hawkhurst, Kent. TN18 5AJ

Camping  available from Friday afternoon.
Trial GB - 30th & 31st May 2026
KYTC have sponsored 3 sections at Trial GB at Hookwoods Trials Centre.  We need 6 people to observe and score the riders across both days, camping and entry free to those who volunteer.  A fantastic opportunity to see the best riders in Britain, as well as the best A and B Youth Riders.
KYTC Championship Round 4 (Saturday), KYTC Championship Round 5 and TXP Cup powered by OSET Round 2 (Sunday)  - 20th & 21st June 2026
Venue -  Jackson's Wood, Haymans Hill, Horsmonden, Kent.  TN12 8BJ

Camping available (subject to weather) from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon

Saturday will also include the Father's Day One Lap Wonder - with trophies for the dad's!!
Clearing Day - 27th June 2026
Clearing of the overgrown vegetation at the Demo arena at Detling Showground.

Any help you can offer will be gratefully appreciated.  Power tools, hand tools and  elbow grease required (don't forget your PPE!!)

Unfortunately due to the nature of the work, this will not be a safe space for our younger members.
Kent County Show - 3rd, 4th, & 5th July 2026
3 full days of riding in the demo arena at Detling Showground, plus at various points during the day the children will go out to the main showground to demonstrate in one of the show rings. 

Camping will be available.
KYTC Championship Round 6 (Saturday), KYTC Championship Round 7 and TXP Cup powered by OSET Round 3 (Sunday)  - 18th & 19th July 2026

Venue - Pullington Fold Farm, Rolvenden Rd, Benenden, Kent.  TN17 4EH



Camping (subject to weather) will be available from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon.


Saturday - Sign on from 915-1015 - 1030 start. Sunday Sign on from 845-start at 10.

KYTC 50th Celebrations - 30th August 2026
Celebrating 50 years of KYTC, an open practice trial with all the KYTC memorabilia, paperwork and trophies on display.  A chance for former members to meet up with old friends, reminisce and ride alongside some of our current members.  Plus there will be a catering van with £5 credit for all riders!!
