KYTC and OSET Cup Dates 2025
As you may have seen on our Facebook page, here is a provisional list of dates for this year. Some venues have not yet been confirmed, so please check back here or on our Facebook page for updates throughout the year. We will, however, try our very best to ensure that these published dates are kept to so you can think about holidays, shifts and supplying observers etc. etc.
KYTC Awards Evening - 11th January 2025
Lordswood Leisure Centre, North Dane Way, Chatham, Kent. ME5 8YE.
The culmination of the KYTC Championship, the OSET Cup and some Special Awards.
Plus the KYTC Raffle - bring some cash as raffle tickets will be sold on the door!!
Detling Practice - 23rd February 2025
Practice riding in our arena at the Detling Showground. Restricted to KYTC members only. Members of the committee and some more experienced parents will be on hand to demonstrate the electronic scoring system we use and put on some demonstrations of how to observe

KYTC Championship Round 1 and OSET Cup Round 1 - 27th April 2025
Venue - China Farm, Plough Lane, Upper Harbledown, Canterbury, Kent. CT2 9AR
Signing on will be from 9am, briefing and start at 10:00 am.
KYTC Championship Round 2 (Saturday), KYTC Championship Round 3 and OSET Cup Round 2 (Sunday) - 24th & 25th May 2025
Venue - Rakins, Slip Mill Lane, Gills Green, Hawkhurst, Kent. TN18 5AJ
Camping available from Friday afternoon until Bank Holiday Monday lunchtime
KYTC Championship Round 4 (Saturday), KYTC Championship Round 5 and OSET Cup Round 3 (Sunday) - 14th & 15th June 2025
Venue - To be confirmed.
Clearing Day - 21st June 2025
Clearing of the overgrown vegetation at the Demo arena at Detling Showground.
Any help you can offer will be gratefully appreciated. Power tools, hand tools and elbow grease required (don't forget your PPE!!)
Unfortunately due to the nature of the work, this will not be a safe space for our younger members.
Trial GB - 28th & 29th June 2025
KYTC have sponsored 3 sections at Trial GB at Hookwoods Trials Centre. We need 6 people to observe and score the riders across both days, camping and entry free to those who volunteer. A fantastic opportunity to see the best riders in Britain, as well as the best A and B Youth Riders.
Kent County Show - 4th, 5th & 6th July 2025
3 full days of riding in the demo arena at Detling Showground, plus at various points during the day the children will go out to the main showground to demonstrate in one of the show rings.
Camping will be available.
KYTC Championship Round 6 (Saturday), KYTC Championship Round 7 and OSET Cup Round 4 (Sunday) - 19th & 20th July 2025

Camping will (hopefully) be available.
KYTC Championship Round 8 (Saturday), KYTC Championship Round 9 and OSET Cup Round 5 (Sunday) - 23rd & 24th August 2025
Venue - Sandfields Farm, Bassets Lane, Cowden, Kent. TN8 7DW
Camping will (hopefully) be available.
KYTC Championship Round 10 - 21st September 2025
Venue - Tricks In The Sticks, Bell Farm, Rye Rd, Sandhurst, Kent. TN18 5JB
Signing on will be from 9am, briefing and start at 10 am.
Lord of Lydden - Lydden Hill Race Circuit - 25th & 26th October 2025
Demo riding in our Trials arena at Lydden Hill - riding is Saturday and Sunday. Camping available from Friday.
Limited to 20 Riders per day.
KYTC Championship Round 11 and OSET Cup Rd 6 - 16th November 2025
Venue - Pilmer Rd, Crowborough, East Sussex. TN6 2UB
Signing on will be from 9am, briefing and start at 10am.
