KYTC and OSET Cup Dates 2024
As you may have seen on our Facebook page, here is a provisional list of dates for this year. Some venues have not yet been confirmed, so please check back here or on our Facebook page for updates throughout the year. We will, however, try our very best to ensure that these published dates are kept to so you can think about holidays, shifts and supplying observers etc. etc.
KYTC Awards Evening - 3rd February 2024
Ashford Football Club, Homelands Stadium, Ashford Rd, Kingsnorth, Ashford, Kent. TN26 1NJ.
The culmination of the KYTC Championship, the OSET Cup and some Special Awards.
Plus the KYTC Raffle - bring some cash as raffle tickets will be sold on the door!!

Practice day - 3rd March 2024
Practice day in the demo arena at Detling Showground. A fantastic opportunity for our members to ride for the day, plus some of our committee members and more experienced parents will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about observing motorcycle trials.
This is an ideal opportunity to learn how motorcycle trials is scored, and more specifically the use of our electronic scoring system. Don't forget - you are expected to supply and/or undertake 2 observer duties throughout the season per child - so bring someone along to train up!!
KYTC Championship Round 1 - 17th March 2024
Venue - Courtlands, Grove Rd, Penshurst, Kent. TN11 8DU
Signing on will be from 9am, briefing and start at 10:00 am.
5 Nations British RallyCross - Lydden Hill Race Circuit - 30th March - 1st April 2024
Demo riding in our Trials arena at Lydden Hill - riding is Saturday and Monday only (Sunday is a "quiet" day - with a SoapBox Race). Camping available from Friday.
Limited to 20 Riders per day.
Heritage Transport Show - 6th April 2024
Demo riding at the Heritage Transport Show at Detling Showground .
KYTC Championship Round 2 and OSET Cup Round 1 - 21st April 2024

Signing on will be from 9am, briefing and start at 10:30 am.
KYTC Championship Round 3 (Saturday), KYTC Championship Round 4 and OSET Cup Round 2 (Sunday) - 25th & 26th May 2024
Venue - Rakins, Slip Mill Lane, Gills Green, Hawkhurst, Kent. TN18 5AJ
Camping available from Friday afternoon until Bank Holiday Monday lunchtime
KYTC Championship Round 5 (Saturday), KYTC Championship Round 6 and OSET Cup Round 3 (Sunday) - 15th & 16th June 2024
Venue - Jacksons Wood, Haymans Hill, Horsmonden, Kent. TN12 8BX.
Camping will be available.
Fathers Day Trial!!!
Clearing Day - 29th June 2024
Clearing of the overgrown vegetation at the Demo arena at Detling Showground.
Any help you can offer will be gratefully appreciated. Power tools, hand tools and elbow grease required (don't forget your PPE!!)
Unfortunately due to the nature of the work, this will not be a safe space for our younger members.
Kent County Show - 5th, 6th & 7th July 2024
3 full days of riding in the demo arena at Detling Showground, plus at various points during the day the children will go out to the main showground to demonstrate in one of the show rings.
Camping will be available.

This event will, of course, include prizes for our traditional Christmas Helmet competition, as well as some festive eats and drinks.
